01 - Who is eligible for Day Rise Living?
Day Rise Living welcomes adults seeking stable transitional housing and a supportive community environment. Our program is designed for:

Adults experiencing housing challenges who are capable of independent living
Applicants must be willing to live in an alcohol and drug-free environment and be able to cover the monthly program fee through SSI, SSDI, employment income, benefits, or private pay. All applications are reviewed with respect, confidentiality, and a commitment to helping each person succeed.
02 - What are the program rules and expectations?
Day Rise Living maintains a respectful, safe, and alcohol and drug-free environment where all program participants can thrive. To protect this community, participants are expected to follow program standards including:
No drugs, alcohol, or weapons allowed on the property
Respect for quiet hours and shared living spaces
Monthly program fee paid on time according to your agreement
Cleanliness and care of both personal and common areas
Respect for staff, fellow participants, and program policies
Compliance with keyless entry systems and security protocols
No personal guests or overnight visitors (professional visitors like social workers require prior approval)
Violations may result in warnings, program agreements, or removal from the program. These expectations ensure everyone can focus on their goals in a stable, supportive environment.

Monthly Program Fee: Starting at $750 for shared rooms, starting at $950 for private rooms
One-time Community Fee: $300 - non-refundable fee due at program acceptance to cover setup and administrative costs
Final monthly rates may vary based on individual circumstances, funding source, and program participation. We work with various agencies and assistance programs to ensure affordable housing options.

Upon acceptance, pay the community fee and first month's program fee

We typically respond to applications within 24-48 hours and work quickly to help qualified applicants secure housing.

We offer both private and shared room options based on availability and your preferences. All rooms feature:

11 - Is this a halfway house or assisted living facility?
No. Day Rise Living is an independent living transitional housing program. We serve self-sufficient adults who do not require personal care services but benefit from a supportive, structured community environment while working toward their goals.
12 - Can I bring furniture, pets, or have visitors?
Furniture: All accommodations are fully furnished. Personal furniture is not permitted due to space limitations.
Pets: We are unable to accommodate pets at this time.
Visitors: Personal guests are not permitted. Professional visitors (social workers, case managers, healthcare providers, etc.) are allowed with prior approval during designated hours. No overnight guests are permitted under any circumstances.
13 - Is there a curfew?
Yes, we maintain quiet hours and a reasonable curfew to ensure a peaceful environment for all program participants. Specific times will be provided during your orientation.
14 - What happens if I need to leave the program?
Participants may leave the program at any time with proper notice as outlined in the program agreement. We ask for advance notice when possible to help with transition planning and to maintain positive community standards.
